A new variety of the 1882-CC has been discovered

I dont know how that could have been missed before. It must be an R8 coin.

I've only seen one and that was the discovery coin.

Do you remember that guy on Vamworld who asked how Leroy can determine the rarity of a coin just by looking at one. Well if the coin hasn't been identified or seen for 45 years then its probably rare.. :laugh:

I saw one of these for sale in a GSA holder at the last Long Beach show. Interesting coin.
