The much-anticipated 32nd issue of Curry's Chronicle, the award-winning journal of the Carson City Coin Collectors of America, has left the printers in Minnesota!

For some of you, the summer 2014 issue is the last issue you will receive if you do not renew your membership in the club. So, if you receive a white renewal envelope stuffed in with your journal, please send in your dues for the 2014-2015 subscription cycle to avoid missing any issues of Curry's Chronicle. Deadline for renewals is June 30, 2014.

Wednesday, April 30. 2014 is the submission deadline for the summer 2014 issue of Curry’s Chronicle. If you would like to submit an article, announcement, or letter to the editor and have it appear in this upcoming issue, please make sure we receive it by April 30, 2014. But, if you don’t think you’re going to make the deadline—don’t worry! Submissions are published on a first-come, first served basis, and if you don’t get it into us in time for this issue, we will simply bump it to the next on (fall-winter 2014).

As you probably know, the Carson City Coin Collectors of America is smack in the middle of renewal seasons. Membership dues have been flying in from Carson City coin enthusiasts who are eager to see what the next subscription cycle has in store for them. The fall-winter 2013 issue of Curry's Chronicle is chock-full of information and human-interest stories about the Carson City Mint, its coins, and the times in which it operated. This 30th edition of Curry's Chronicle, is going to be a wonderful addition to your growing collection of club journals.

The journal is currently at the printers, and is scheduled to be mailed out in the first two weeks of November 2013. A big thank-you to those C4OA members who were able to journey out to Carson City last week (August 23, 2013) to attend the Carson City Coin Collectors of America Regional Meeting. The C4OA greatly appreciates any responses to the regional meeting events, as well as to Rusty Goe’s “10 Non-Coin Collectables Ever ‘CC’ Coin Enthusiast Should Own” lecture at the Nevada State Museum Educational Fair (held before the regional meeting took place).

If you were unable to attend the regional meeting this past Friday, you surely missed out. Club meetings are what C4OAers look forward to most, besides their beloved Curry’s Chronicle issues arriving in the mail.

Carson City Coin Collectors of America president and Curry’s Chronicle editor, Rusty Goe, is scheduled to present three lectures in August 2013. If you have attended one of his lectures before, perhaps at a C4OA meeting in the past, you know how truly captivating and educating they can be.
