1870-CC Double Eagle

They both were a sight to behold. I was afraid I was going to drop them. To hold history like that in your hands is truly amazing.

What were the grades on those 1870-CC $20's...do you remember?

Were they in P or N holders? How much $ were they asking?

...not that I could afford one...just curious...

Drummer, They were both in XF-45 if I remember correctly. The third one I saw was an AU. The pair that I held at the same time were from a regular "Coin World" advertiser and were in the 450K-475K range.
