Hi dad of two drummers ahhhhh!
I had the pleasure of hearing Carmine play many years ago in Tucson AZ...he was the consumate double-kick rock drummer of his day....don't hear much about him anymore.
The only story per se that I know of is that he was fired from Rod Stewart's band for being too rowdy! Too rowdy for Rod Stewart? Wow!
The band I heard him with was called "Vanilla Fudge"...they were outstanding in their day!
Wih all the $$$ they made back then (1970's-early 80's) they could've built great "CC" collections for sure. :silly:

In the article, Carmine said he was fired by Ozzy for being too famous. Ozzy didn't like being upstaged. "You Keep Me Hanging On" by Vanilla Fudge is still the best version of that song and was brilliant for its day.

WOW Vanilla fudge ( the Band ) with the classic You just keep me hanging on!!! Just love it. CC coins and music are my two favorite subjects.

Thank you...I really enjoy having some meaningful reminders like this special set from the first...original...real...genuine...Comstock Seminar.
