I had to audition then too including the submission of at least 2 letters from teachers.
Yes, a lot of famous people went there..I didn't exactly gain all the fame I wanted way back when, but I sure got a long career out of it...with the chance to play with some very good bands...even the Tucson Symphony Orchestra!
That's plenty satisfying to me! Now then, if only I would've discovered "CC" coins back then in the early 1970's...Oh my...some of my dream coins for a mere pittance.

Boston Shows are always a good take. Last years ANA was actually right down the street from Berklee College of Music. Next time I am in Beantown Garry I will give an update from a Northend's Italian restaurant. Next show I will be attending is the Manchester NH Coin Expo,with a Liberty Seated Collectors Club meeting be held there. Again I will be on the hunt for anything Carson City. I will update the show on a post following the expo.
