Were any of you guys at last year's event? If you haven't attended the club meeting at the old Carson City Mint before, you're really in for a treat. The highlight is always our show and tell where
members bring special CC coins and, or CC memorabilia to present to the gathering. I was seriously blown away at last year's huge variety of presentations.

I'm glad to know you all are going to be there for 2010 and look forward to sharing your presentations and meeting you.

Hi Belay Off,

Yes, I was there last year. I was the guy who got named "crazy slab guy" for bringing in the CC coins in the "unusual" slabs. I'll dig out a couple more to bring with me for show and tell again this time.

While we're on the topic of the club meeting in the fall, maybe we can collect suggestions for some additional ideas? Maybe we can set up an auction for the members? Or maybe an area for just club members to buy/sell CC coins.

Anybody else have any ideas?

August meeting of C4OA. Show & Tell is fine, but an auction or a
Buy & Sell for members only would be an additional reason to
attend the meeting.

As far as I understand, Show & Tell part --- bring your most interesting items.

Buy & Sell part would give a chance for the members to exchange or sell their seconds. When one upgrades a coin, one ends up with a number of seconds. One member's seconds maybe another member's upgrades.

Great idea.
