Thanks Michael. The QX-3 is very good with silver. Not so good with copper. It wore out on me so I have to look for something else. There is now a QX-5 out there. I will also look at the Dino-Lite.

I just might have to get one of those new QX-5's. The new model seems to be an improvement over the old QX-3. You certainly have produced some nice close-up results from your QX-3 though. it also looks like it's a fairly easy scope to use with your computer.
