Just FYI, I cleaned up the original post and added some information to the auction results.

Hi Garryn

This is a significant improvement over your original COWpost on this subject (1878-CC Tr $) and the original post was great.

It makes for easy reading when paragraphs are divided and organized with headings. A trick I use that I learned from the "master" Rusty who's one of (if not) THE best writers (and writing teachers) I know.

I love the images...both spectacular coins.

This COW post project is nearing its end and I want to say how much fun it has been...plus, it's been a real learning experience. For a non-pro writer like myself, I have learned so much from this very positive experience. I consulted with Rusty many times along the way and that has only served to make me better. Rusty is a very thorough yet encouraging teacher! Hopefully there'll be more projects like this in the future. I have watched this project and its posts steadily improve week after week since the first COW post on Sept. 14, 2009.

I have four posts remaining. I was hoping to do all the "CC" half eagles but COW writer/assigned dates won't allow for me to do them all. There are six remaining half eagles and I will have the honor and pleasure of posting four of those six.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next post

Garryn,

Wow! Perhaps one day I will be fortunate enough to own an example half this nice!
Great follow up to your already enjoyable and educational article!
