Submit Letters to the Editor Here!! was created by Ms. Maya
Hi everyone,
Right now we are beginning to layout the fall 2009 Curry's Chronicle, and we would like to see some feedback from C4OA members!
Now, working at Southgate Coins, I have heard numerous accounts of how wonderful our last two journals have been, with many showing interest in the new authors we've published. If this sounds like you, we'd like your written account of what C4OA means to you.
You've seen the Letters to the Editor sections in the past, and submissions range from a few words to a few pages-- the length is up to you!
I will be checking back on this thread (and others as well) to see who wants to voice their support for the club.
-Maya
PS- Please remember that this website and discussion board have not officially been announced yet, and when the fall 2009 issue is realeased, I'm sure we'll all see a great outpouring of support.

Dear Editor,
I was just thinking how great it would be if this C4OA website became THE Set Registry venue for posting, discussing, researching and just plain enjoying the many variations of Carson City coin collections out there. From the biggest CC collection to the smallest, all would be welcome and appreciated. Just think how powerful a resource and knowledge base that would be for amateurs and professionals alike.
I'm not suggesting that the CC Registry should try to duplicate the powerful auditing software that PCGS or the other registy's sport. Something resembling the honor system would have to do.
Obviously, this would take a lot of time and software hudspa which I certainly do not have in abundance nor could the C4OA club coffers afford to pay for this kind of Set Registry addition. It's just an idea that's been floating in my head that I thought I would throw out there just for grins.....maybe someday.
I can just see Carsonite's face after reading this...
OH GREAT!..another one of Belay's dime a dozen ideas that would take a small city state to afford! Gee, thanks Belay.....NOT !!

Another alternative would be to have a place to post links to a collector's website, similar to ccroger's, or to .img photos in a photobucket account. The only problem is that some people like me are hit and miss with photography equipment and skills.
