The Coin of The Week

In order to get members to more actively participate in this forum,
why not have a new category called

The Coin of The Week

The idea is to ask all members what new information, images,
associated stories, history etc. they can add about the featured coin.

The information can come from an individual's collections or from
other publications.

Everyone would learn something new and at the same time it would
entice more members to login in order to learn more about
"the coin of the week" and to see other postings.

Since there are only 111 Carson City coins available, the whole
set could be covered in two years.

"The coin of the week" category would give a reason to login at least once a week to see what's new.

Cool idea. I would definately track that discussion even if I didn't have much to offer.

Let's hook it up. Get a coin up for next week and we'll get this thing off the ground.

Let's do it. How about we select coins randomly rather than sequentially. That way no one can predict what's coming up. Each one of us will have the research and posting duty for a week then it moves to the next guy.

If you agree, we might want to trade email addresses too so we can chat about what's coming up without giving it away on the C4OA web site.
