Believe it or not, Bogie played a mexican outlaw (with a unconvincing accent)who was eyeing a gold shipment that Confederate Randolph Scott was trying to channel to the south. Enter good guy Errol Flynn to stop the plot and make things right.
It sounds hilarious. I have to check it out.

I need to watch it again, Bogie as the Mexican Outlaw???,
I will have to take another look at that performance.....
By the way, If you try to locate this DVD on the Internet, its just a little pricey from what I have noticed.
I actually picked it up (brand new) in a store called "TJ Maxx" in a boxed set of 4 different movies for under $12
What a find! It was almost like cherry picking a Rare Coin Variety!
My Daughter saw how excited I became when I saw it on the store shelf and said to me, "Dad, you want a tissue to wipe the drool?"
Anyone else get like this when you find anything "CC" related?

I get the same way Deepsouthspike, actually drives my wifey crazy! We have TJ Maxx in New England and now I'm going to have to search for this movie. Plus the flea markets, swap meets, etc will be starting soon once the snow is gone. One my favorites even to this day is Bonanza. I know it's TV but doesn't Virginia City look kind of flat?

BONANZA!
Yes, don't ya love when they just leave the ranch and trot into VC for a beer?
In all actuality it would have been a two day ride on horseback!!
Aaaaah, the misconceptions in the movies and television!!
Just entertainment for sure.

Hi Bob
The Cartwrights had very fast horses Bob!
When you go to Virginia City now, it is built upon a steep mountain side (Mt. Davidson or as it's sometimes called "Sun" Mnt)...but back then, Virginia City was flat! I know this is true because I watched the TV shows and in every episode, VC was flat! They wouldn't lie to me on TV would they?
Our good old mother earth must've gone through some big changes pretty quickly there!

Michael & Bob,
Below is a montage of clips from the TV series Bonanza:
You can see how fast the Cartwright's horses were. You can also see some beautiful scenes around Lake Tahoe.
Did Lorne, Pernell, Micahel and Dan have dream jobs or what?
If someone had introduced them to "CC" coins back in those good old days, each one of them might have formed an incredible collection.

P.S. - Bob (mycc), good to see you joining in on this discussion board.
