This is the Upgrade! Was only able to post one picture at a time.

Update of the upgrade. Now that I am able to center images and to put two side by side.

This coin was bought a few months ago from Yellow River Rare Coins
in Minneapolis, MN.

Any idea what Richmond Collection stands for and what happened to it?
All I could find on the Internet that it consists of 3,600 coins.

The NGC holder needs to be replased. This coin deserves a new
clean holder. I will contact NGC to see what is involved to get
that done.

The Richmond Collection refers to a three-part auction that was conducted by David Lawrence Rare Coins from July 2004 through March 2007.

The collection consisted of 45 complete sets of different U.S. coin series assembled by one man (who chose to remain anonymous) over the course of many years.

He had 110 out of the possible 111 pieces in a complete set of Carson City coins; missing only the 1873-CC Without Arrows dime.

Your 1889-CC Morgan silver dollar in NGC MS-63 sold in the Richmond sale for $32,775 on March 7, 2005. It has since changed hands on several occasions.
